beware of trojan and net-worm..
okay, my exam did not allow me to blog for two weeks.
hmm..., i'll make it up.
Lets explain some simple thing called 'trojan virus'
many mite have know about it.
But there are some of us who still did't know.
Have you heard of the trojan horse?
Here is about it,
The Trojan Horse was a tale from the Trojan War, as told in Virgil's Latin epic poem The Aeneid. The events in this story from the Bronze Age took place after Homer's Iliad, and before Homer's Odyssey. It was the stratagem that allowed the Greeks finally to enter the city of Troy and end the conflict. In the best-known version, after a fruitless 10-year siege of Troy the Greeks built a huge figure of a horse in which a select force of men hid. The Greeks pretended to sail away, and the Trojans pulled the Horse into their city as a victory trophy. That night the Greek force crept out of the Horse and opened the gates for the rest of the Greek army, which had sailed back under cover of night. The Greek army entered and destroyed the city, decisively ending the war. A "Trojan Horse" has come to mean any trick that causes a target to invite a foe into a securely protected bastion or place.

It then releases when you open the file that you download and execute some malicious code..
Usually happens a lot to us guys who download pornography or software.

Net-Worm.Win32.Kido exploits a critical vulnerability in Microsoft Windows to spread via local networks and removable storage media.

Users are strongly recommended to ensure their antivirus databases are up to date. A patch for the vulnerability is available from Microsoft.
There are 4 types:
Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.bt : This worm spreads via local networks and removable storage media. It is a PE DLL file. The components of the worm are between 155KB and 165KB in size. It is packed using UPX.
Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.dv : This worm spreads via local networks and removable storage media. It is a PE DLL file. The components of the worm are 165840 B. It is packed using UPX.
Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.fx :This malicious program exploits the MS08-067 vulnerability to spread via network resources and removable storage media.This modification of the worm is a Windows PE DLL file. The file is 158110 bytes in size. It is packed using UPX.

When it copies itself to remote computers, the worm creates a temporary file with a random extension. The program itself is a Windows PE DLL file. tmr, 8th of may is international smile day.
thats wat she told me..hahax..
so, tmr i wil hav 2 smile whole day.=)
lately, busy with projects again.
This time is easy.
Ms.access.
Its a toy to me.
Except for the vba in it which i had't fully explore.
Mayb next time b4 i finish vb.
Sick this few day.
Cough, sore throat.
Damn, almost vomit in front of my pc twice jz nw.
There is this another girl, that i dun really noe her.
Only made a few eye contact last year.
Well, i am kinda surprise that this girl smiled at me a few times this year and wave hi at me everytime v met.
hmm...

Access file cannot be convert to exe.
You can only split it to front end and back end.
Scan your pendrive whenever you after you use it in school.
Advantage of Access is that it saves any data you key in.
So, no need to panic if your computer of by itself while at work.

Beware of iframe threat
The newest threat to watch out for is called IFRAME. This new virus/threat can actually come in through clicking on IFRAME sites in website searches. Searching for and clicking on a rogue version of ABCNews.com, USAToday.com,News.com or Target.com (these are just a few) will lead to “IFRAME” sites.
These “IFRAME” sites will forward your PC to “rogue” sites that advertise fake anti-spyware software loaded with malware (a combination of spyware and virus)(buy one free one in other words..hahax).
Symantec rates this as a medium risk attack and Google is doing its best to actively filter out these rogue search results.
How to protect yourself:
1. Don’t click on these IFRAME links if you see them in searches.
2. Make sure your virus software is up to date.
3. Make sure all new Windows updates are installed.

Go there to see more. They even have a list of websites that are affected by it.
If your computer is affected by it, you can try system restore.
1)Go to start and click restore and backup center if you are using vista.
If you are using windows xp then click start>Accessories>system tools>system restore(should be arround there)
If that doesn't help much, maybe you can get a good antivirus to scan your computer.
If that doesn't do any better, just format your computer thats it.
